Homemade Brownies Full of Love and Chocolates :D
I love chocolates and one of my biggest obsession in food will be chocolates. I could spend my whole day eating nothing but chocolates. I know it is very bad but sometimes it's good to indulge yourself once a while. These brownies were homemade and because I did not have a brownie pan I used a heart shape mould instead. It's only for trial before we officially introduce them to our new dessert menu at Dragon Castle Restaurant where Amy and I work. Amy and I have been planning for quite a while, however both of us have been so busy hence we only got a chance to do it now.
I used recipes by Nigella Lawson 'How to be a Domestic Goddess' and they are so yummy especially when you served the brownies warm with ice cream and chocolate sauce on top, yummmm!!!!
As you can see, Amy was enjoying herself in preparing and decorating the brownies sundaes. The process was so much fun and though they turned out great, we are definitely going to work on the presentation more before we start selling them on Monday. It's all about practice makes perfect :)
Our first customer to try out the sundaes ^^ |
P.S. I also included the recipe, but you can get it online anyways. Enjoy!!!
375 g soft unsalted butter 375 g best quality dark chocolate6 large eggs 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 500 g caster sugar 225 g plain flour 1 teaspoon salt 300 g chopped walnuts (optional) Directions: 1 Preheat the oven to 180°C. 2 Line your approximatley 33 x 23 x 5 1/2cm brownie pan with foil or baking paper. 3 Melt the butter and chocolate together in a large heavy based saucepan. 4 In a bowl beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla. 5 Measure the flour into another bowl and add the salt. 6 When the chocolate mixture has melted, let it cool a bit before beating in the eggs and sugar mixture, and then the nuts and flour. 7 Beat to combine and then scrape out of the saucepan into the lined brownie pan. 8 Bake for about 25 minutes. 9 When its's ready, the top should be dried to a paler brown speckle, but the middle still dark and dense and gooey. 10 Keep checking the brownies as they cook; remember that they will continue to cook as they cool.
