Life

Everyone has their own life story, so have I.  Throughout the years, my life have been filled with adventures, where I experienced not only bad times but also good times and I never stop learning through those experiences to define who I am now. I have decided to write this post because I want to share and hopefully this will help and motivate others as everyone has their own ways on how to live their lives.  It will be an ongoing life experience and I have no intentions to offend anyone out there. I still can remember when I was a kid where you fear nothing and you dream of being whoever you want to be. However, one thing when I was a kid, I have this insecurity within myself due to the environment I grew up and the culture where everyone believes that you have to be pretty and skinny or you have to be super rich and intelligent to be accepted into the society. I was a chubby little girl and have darker skin whilst my brother, all my cousins and friends were thin, pre...

Let's Go Green ^^

Recently, I have been indulged in green eyeshadows since it was St. Patrick's Day last Sunday in which I was gutted that I couldn't join the parade and drink Guiness due to work - sobsss. But that didn't mean I didn't celebrate the day with my green shadow look, shuttle so I still can wear them to work :D  Here are three different look I did but only the last ones that I put the step by step because I had more time for the look First Look: Using Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Permission and Machine   Second Look: Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Permission mixed with sealing gel for the green liner Finished off with Illamasqua Magnetism to complement the simple look  Final Look including the overall products I used and the step by step: Start with Illamasqua Eyebrow Cake in Gaze  Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Electrum only in the middle of the eye Top with Shu Uemura Eyeshadow in Gold ME 340 Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Melodrama Maybelli...

Dior Fragrance Latest Ad starring Natalie Portman

Image
Hey dolls, happy fridays and hope you lovelies had a great week so far.  This week my look is inspired by Miss Dior latest ad including a short film starring Natalie Portman and directed by Sophia Copella called 'La Vie en Rose'.  I heart this look as you can tell that by the title that it fills with full of romance, love, pink and purple (so parisian and l'Amoure ^^).  Step by step: Prep the skin and I'm using Illamasqua Matt Primer Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation No. 8.5 and Make up Forever HD Translucent Loose Powder Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Lilac Illamasqua Eyebrow Cake in Gaze link In the ad Natalie was using Purple Liner in replace to Black liner so I am using Bobbi Brown Long wear Gel Liner in Violet Purple - which for some reason look more blue in the picture :( and then I used Max Factor Clump Defy mascara  Using Illamasqua Gleam in the inner corner of the eyes, under brow bone, along the centre of the nose and along th...

Retro & Old Glam

Image
Hey lovelies, this is my second time of channeling a celebrity look - Emma Stone.  If anyone has seen Gangster Squad, I'm sure you would agree on how gorgeous she looked on the set with her porcelain skin and that retro old glam look.   Obviously, I neither have red hair nor having a fair porcelain skin but it's the makeup that intrigued me to re-create the look - as close as I can so I hope you guys will enjoy it ^^ Overall products I used: Step by step: I know it looked weird, I tried this speckled method after attended the Beauty Drop in at Illamasqua where so you can see I had my highlighter, bronzer and my foundation all dotted along the face where I wanted them to be  Blend Blend Blend and Voila the end result :D Instead using Illamasqua Eyebrow Cake in Gaze, I used Too Faced Matte Palette in Coffee Bean for eyebrows, Midnight eyeshadow for lid only, eyeliner and Mascara.  I have been dying to use Illamasqua Gleam since I boug...
