L'oreal Miss Manga Mascara - My Current Mascara Obsession

Image
One thing that I can't leave the house without would be mascara.  The problem is that whenever I bought a new pair, it's a massive disappointment because I ended up with a pair of 'Panda' eyes by the end of the night though it's a waterproof formula.  The only mascara that works for me is the Japanese brand: Dejavu Imju Fiberwig - amazing mascara that I don't need to use any make up remover to remove the mascara; warm water and that's all.  However, this can only be purchased either through eBay or when I was travelling back home >< So, when I saw L'oreal's advert of their current mascara and read the reviews about it.  I was pretty sceptical at first, because I have tried few of their mascaras and I still had smudges.  But, I decided to give it a go and it came as a surprise to me.  After 10 hours of wearing them, I didn't get any smudges.   Love how the brush tip is quite narrow that works well for inner corner and lower lashes. ...

Summer Sunshine Please Stay ^^

Image
Hello dolls,  One thing I sometime still can't get used to living in London is the weather and when Summer comes to an end.  I'm aware that Autumn is beautiful and sun will still be shining but it is also the moment where the day will get shorter and it will start to get very windy and without we knowing it, Winter is here - oow how depressing that will be.  However, fret not and never let the weather get into your mood because life is too short to be depressed and to be grumpy ^^ For the whole summer, I have been taking the chances to go for a lighter make up look as well as to use all of my lip glosses before the wind starts to hit the town. So, here is my favourite look throughout Summer - something light and soft without being too overdone and you still look gorgeous effortlessly.  Products I used: From Left: Dejavu Imju Fiberwig Mascara  MAC Lipliner in Boldly Bare  MAC Lipstick in Hue Heavy Rotation Lipgloss No. 2 Bobb...

Illamasqua 'The Sacred Hour'

Image
Happy Friday dolls,  Last week I went to the launch of Illamasqua new collection called 'The Sacred Hour' exclusively at Selfridges.  This event last for 2 hours where we were given some yummy drinks, the chances to meet Alex Box - Illamasqua Creative Director where she told us the story behind their new collection, David Horne - Director of Product Development where he talked about their new Skin Based Lift Concealer and the chances to explore and tested their new products.  So, what did I get from my redeemable £30, fufufu From Top Clockwise: Reflection Palette  The Shard Lipstick Skin Based Lift Concealer No. 2 To be honest, this is by so far my most favourite collection from Illamasqua not because the other collections weren't great.  However, the theme behind this collection has the most impact towards my own personal life and how sometimes one can forget their own identity and the spiritual side of life due to the modern living and the influen...

Monochrome

Image
Happy Friday dolls,  This week I created a look taken from the current trend 'Monochrome' that was featured in Aqeela's blog  ^^ Whenever I hear the words 'Monochrome', it makes me think of 1960s - Twiggy look with heavy lashes and cut crease.  So here is the step by step tutorial:  Eyebrows:  Illamasqua Eyebrow cake in Gaze mixed with Sealing Gel for Waterproof Eyeshadow base: Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow Eyeshadow:  MAC Powder Eyeshadow in Jest all over the lid Crease:  Illamasqua Medium Pencil in S.O.P.H.I.E to create the lines, then blend it with Heroine to soften the look. Add Machine Powder Eyeshadow to add an intensity just at the outer corner.   Illamasqua Precision Gel liner in Infinity and Mascara in Raven - tons of them as I finished my Fiberwig and waiting for the arrival :(   Not forgetting the lower lash by using the gel liner along the lower lash line connecting to the outer corner and MAC Kohl Pencil in...
