Last month, I joined a 12 days Xmas Giveaway from Baobella - the up and coming beauty sharing network for all beauty addicts and I won a Xmas make-up gift set from W7. I had the products on last week but only today that I got a chance to post some of the step by step photos today.

Overall Products I used |

Eyes Products |
Recently, I have started my make-up from eyes apart from when I am in a rush. Thought a bit of change would be nice and when it comes to smokey eyes, I have always make sure that I lined both my inner rims before I start applying eyeshadows.
Before and make sure you always moisturised your face and under eye |
Start by applying eye primer, I'm using Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow - water resistant so it last the whole day without leaving any colours creased or smudged |
Apply the second darkest along the crease line - try to avoid the lids |
Apply medium shade from inner corner of the eye and stop right in the middle of the lid |
Apply the darkest shade at the outer corner and blend blend blend to avoid any harsh line - key to smokey eyes |
Add the highlights under the brow bone, apply black eyeliner and filled in the brows |
Before Mascara and make sure to clean up all the excess using baby wipes |
Close up |
After tons of mascara and add the highlights from the palette on the tear duct to make your eyes pop up |
For the face:
From left to right:
- Illamasqua Matt Primer
- Illamasqua Skin Based Foundation in 8.5
- Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Emerge - swear I have been using this as a replacement of concealer
- W7 Matt Bronzer
- Beauty Blender - my Holy Grail ^^
Before Loose Powder Don't freak out with the amount of the bronzer, it's my personal choice to always apply bronzer before setting them up with Loose Powder |
After Loose Powder |
Final Look:
Finishing off the look with a touch of Peach Blush, Highlight along the cheekbones and a dab of Sonnet lipstick |
Different version - if you dare to go all out by adding a touch of red or berry lipstick. I don't believe in making rules when it comes to applying colours so long they look good on you and you are comfortable with it ^^
My take on the products: I love them especially the eyeshadow palette and the bronzer coz it's matte. However, the eyeliner doesn't stay put and the mascara smudged after couple of hours - maybe that's coz of my asian eyes who tend to have watery eyes. So I would probably be using the eyeliner and mascara only occasionally but not on the night out as it will definitely leave me with *panda* eyes lol.
I hope you all enjoy it and have a great day ^^ xxx
