How am I getting on with my daily routine whilst staying home.

Going into week nine with a slight ease down but I do hope that everyone is doing well, staying busy and keeping sane because I absolutely am or I have to say I am enjoying every second of it 😁

I have to say that I have been doing pretty well working from home since 17 April 2020. I think one of the reason is because there's not much changes in my routine because I'm still working five days a week and workout every morning. I do have to say that at present the advantage of working from home is that I gained an additional two hours sleep and I don't have to travel to the office for the foreseeable future.  In addition, I also get to spend more time with my baby girl so who has the time to complain right 😍

Here we go:
I always start my morning with a cup of hot lemon, and ginger tea mixed with 1 teaspoon of collagen peptide, +/- 1 hour morning walk around the estates, quick workout before getting ready for work.
Except on Sunday morning where I will have pancake instead, my breakfast stays the same everyday which is Ready Brek porridge mixed with 1 teaspoon Maca and sometimes I will add some blueberries or a tiny bit of honey if I need a little bit of taste but most of the time they work just fine.

I then will log on to start my day, going through my emails, have a quick catch up virtually with my manager, the team and/or other managers to see how everyone is doing. I do have to say that work has been busy because of all the sudden changes so everyone has to be quick on their feet, adaptable and be flexible as much as we can. Luckily, our senior management have been very supportive and making sure that everyone has a necessary equipment to be able to work from home.

Weekend --> I will allow myself an extra one or two hour for lay in before my inner voice will ask me to get up and stop being lazy. I tried to go for a walk on Saturday morning but that depends what time I'm awake because if it's past 8am, you will see that more people start to come out and go for a walk. I therefore tend to wake up one hour later on Saturday so I can go for a walk and get it out of the way. I have to be honest that I do love my own companion so if I have to go for a walk I prefer when it's super early and very quiet outside because you get to smell the fresh air, be in your own zen and Bella gets to run around without having to worry that she will be chased or roared by another dog(s) because she is way too cute 😉

For the last few weeks, I have been busy in packing all of my winter clothes away and brought out my summer outfit.  I have also been painting my drawers in my closet room which they are now ready for me to put back all of my stuff which I will be spending on doing during my leave next week.

One of my top to do list is to declutter as much as I can so I have been busy in clearing all of the stuff that I haven't been wearing or using them and they don't fit in anymore. I still have a lot of clearing to do and this will be one of my project for the foreseeable future.

I have to say that current situation is a blessing for me because I rarely get a time for myself and to be able to get things sorted including cleaning the house is something I won't miss out of so I have to say that I am grateful.

In addition, I also keep in touch with my family and friends. My teamwork has been very active in checking on our wellbeing and how everyone is getting on in working from home. I strongly believe that we should be in touch with friends or family and making sure that you are socialised but do make sure that you are taking this moment to spend more time with yourself especially if you are one of those people who loves to be around people and always busy every day. It is good to be busy but most of all you have to make sure that you spend time and go within yourself because a moment of silent is the best time to learn about yourself more which can be very uncomfortable to some.

This moment is also the best time for us to learn about ourselves more, to do things that we never have time to, to reflect to see what is working and what needs changing in our lives including starting to set boundaries, decluttering both of your wardrobe, house contents and your life and last but not least to learn to live in a present moment because all of us are so caught up of thinking of the future, for example planning my next holiday, what should I do in the next 6 months and so on which I have to say that it takes me some time to learn to live in the NOW, and by meditation it has helped a lot and last but not least it has hugely reduce my anxiety.

Sending love and peace 💖💋
