Look of The Day

I was planning to go for a very natural look today but as always I can't help with a pop of colour to cheer my day as it is Monday and gloomy London weather uugghhhh.  Therefore, I chose an orange peach lip colour from MAC in which that it looks more pink on my lips (not sure why, but o well) ^^

Foundation Primer:  Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing
Foundation:  Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation SPF 15 - No. 03 Beige
Under eye Primer:  Smashbox Photo Finish Under Eye Hydrating
Concealer:  MAC Select Cover up - NW 25
Powder:  Diamond Lash Loose Powder - Matte
Eyeshadow Prep:  MAC Paint Pot - Painterly
Eyebrow:  Benefit Brow Zing - Dark
Eyeshadow:  Too Faced Naked Eye Palette - Day In The Buff (All over eye), Pillow Talk (Along the lid) and Like a Virgin (only along socket of crease) + Satin sheets to add highlights near the tear duct
Eyeliner:  Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner - No. 01 Black & MAC Eye Kohl - Fascinating (under eye)
Mascara Base:  Fairy Drops
Mascara:  Dejavu Imju Fiberwig - Pure Black
Bronzer:  Nars - Laguna
Lips:  MAC Amplified - Watch me Shimmer topped with Lip cote 
As I want to stay as natural as possible, I skip contouring all together and just add a hint of bronzer to add a bit of colour.  I also loved how Smashbox Photo Finish Luminizing Primer gives you that dewy look without leaving my face look shiny or oily.

Show Some Love

Hey my lovelies, here is my last and maybe my favourite Valentines look.  Something very simple yet show the soft and romantic side.  Sometimes less is more and this look will definitely turn your loved ones' head around when you don't try too hard and it can be worn as everyday look ^^ Products I used: Step by Step: Prep the eye using Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow and Apply MAC Jest eyeshadow all over the eye Apply MAC All That Glitter on the eye lid Using Pencil Brush, apply Too Faced Matte Eyes Palette in Vintage Violet on the outer crease Blend in MAC Tempting just on the outer corner up to the crease Apply MAC Tempting on the lower lashes connected to the end of the eye and All That Glitters on the inner eye. Finished the look of with eyeliner and tons of mascara from Max Factor Clump Defy (for me anyways as mine is so fine!!!) Closer Look As I am feeling slightly flirtatious, I added some falsies just at the outer corner of the eye.

Illamasqua - The Night Time Diva Course

I was attending a make-up course at Illamasqua the other day and was shown a step by step demonstration on how to create a smokey eyes for a night out.  The atmosphere was very friendly with a small size class plus the tutor was very informative as well.  Blank Canvas Before Foundation & how concealer under the brow bone really lift up the eye ^^ It's all about Contouring - Im completely obsessed with it!!! Final Look!!! One trick I've learnt through the night was to skip a concealer and used a peach cream pigment to conceal any dark circles and it does wonder.  Since the course, I have been using the cream pigment in Emerge instead of concealer ^^  Obviously, I didn't leave the store without purchasing any products and as valentine's day is around the corner, I'm all about peach colour (o well ^^).  Clockwise from left: Cream Pigment - Emerge Blusher - Lover Lipstick - Sonnet Have a great weekend xx
