Gothic - reveal your darker side

Image
Hey dolls,  Today's post will be a short post of my recent make-up tag with Aqeela who came up with 'Gothic' theme.  A theme that I enjoyed a lot because it's dark, mysterious and most of all time to reveal your darker side.  Overall products used for this look was from Illamasqua - my current brand obsession ^^ Step by step: Eyebrows used Illamasqua Eyeshadow mixed with sealing gel in Angst Illamasqua Gel Eyeliner in Infinity and smudge them, leaving the centre lid as clean as possible Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Melodrama in the centre lid and along the lower lash line Illamasqua Neutral Palette in Wolf to blend the edge; Mascara and eyeliner Close up ^^ Illamasqua Medium Pencil in SOPHIE & Lipstick in Magnetism I have some tan so in order to bring out the 'Goth' feeling, I used foundation 3 shades lighter than my usual by Illamasqua Skinbased No. 3 and contouring using Illamasqua Eyeshadow in Heroine Hope you enjoy them

Crownbrush - 613 7pc HD Set

Image
Hey dolls,  Today's post is about my favourite brand - Crownbrush  613 7pc HD Set  When it comes to brushes, make up and skincare, I maybe one of the fussiest person in the world because they have to be good quality, affordable and last for a very long time.  I remembered the first time I got my brushes from Bobbi Brown when I was 17, that moment was all about animal hair and good quality brushes are very pricey.  However, the quality was definitely live up to the price as I am still using my brushes from then up until now.  I learnt about this brand whilst doing my make-up courses, though their speciality is in brushes, they also sell make up palettes and some other accessories.  I have since collected few of their brushes and my favourite amongst them will be the 'Infinity' range - just the word 'Infinity' and I'm all done for ^^ and their 'All Eyes on You' set that I have been using them everyday since.  Back to the post, I decided to get this

The Red Lippy Project

Image
Hey dolls,  Most of you must have known that this week is the cervical cancer awareness week and the Red Lippy Project has collaborated with the Eve Appeal to raise this awareness, from Sunday the 9th - 15th June 2013.  The Red Lippy Project was founded by Caroline Muhlich in April 2013 and short after Linda Andresson was appointed Creative Beauty Director.  Before I came to London, I have heard neither about smear test nor cervical cancer.  We didn't even have any HPV vaccination programme at schools.  Therefore, when I saw the post about this project I told myself that I should show my support by spreading the cause and the importance to have screening done.  In doing so, I am wearing my red lipstick from Chanel No. 99 in Pirate to show my support as well as to spread the word to all women if you have yet have your screening done.   You can also donate to the Eve Appeal   Spread the words to all your family and friends and get the screening done as the saying goes by
