June Favourites 2015

It has been so long since my last blog post and I know that this is such a late post for my June favourites but I still decided to post it anyways.

I love the colour that is slightly pinky plum and I mix it with most of nude lipsticks that's perfect to use during summer when you have some tan on 
A clever innovation from Cover FX when they invent this custom drop because you can use it with mostly everything from your moisturiser to your foundation, the main part is that you adjust how much coverage you want to add.  I have been using the drops with my YSL Teint Foundation together with their Matte Setting Powder for that long lasting effect without any signs - Perfect for Summer and humid weather ^-^
What can I say about this product - I just love love love all of them.  First, came across gossmakeupartist on Instagram who rave about how amazing this brand is and I was looking for a new skincare so I thought why didn't I give it a go.  To be honest, I am totally hooked!!! My skin doesn't irritate at all, doesn't leave any greasiness and my blackheads have gone completely.  I do mix up their moisturiser depending on the weather and where I am about at the time.
I am not a big fan of using brushes to apply foundation because it tends to slide on my skin, so I have only been using Beauty Blender but this brush is just amazing.  It is so soft and doesn't leave any streaks on my face, amazing coverage and I love using this brush particularly under my eye for that better coverage as well as using it as powder brush.  Where have you been in my entire life!!! ^_^

Hey my lovelies, here is my last and maybe my favourite Valentines look.  Something very simple yet show the soft and romantic side.  Sometimes less is more and this look will definitely turn your loved ones' head around when you don't try too hard and it can be worn as everyday look ^^ Products I used: Step by Step: Prep the eye using Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow and Apply MAC Jest eyeshadow all over the eye Apply MAC All That Glitter on the eye lid Using Pencil Brush, apply Too Faced Matte Eyes Palette in Vintage Violet on the outer crease Blend in MAC Tempting just on the outer corner up to the crease Apply MAC Tempting on the lower lashes connected to the end of the eye and All That Glitters on the inner eye. Finished the look of with eyeliner and tons of mascara from Max Factor Clump Defy (for me anyways as mine is so fine!!!) Closer Look As I am feeling slightly flirtatious, I added some falsies just at the outer corner of the eye.

October Purchased

Can't believe that it's November already, Xmas is just around the corner and 2012 is nearly over.  So far October has been a fun and relaxing month for myself and I just want to share what I have bought and my current must have in my make up bag ^^  I have been wanting to try out Too Faced products and have been hearing the rave about it.  Don't get me wrong, I love my MAC, Coastal Scents and Bobbi Brown eyeshadows.  However, I felt that Too Faced Eye Palette is convenient if I am travelling or just going for a night out without having to bring so many different colours in one bag which is quite annoying sometimes.  So, my plan was only to buy one to try out but I ended up buying the whole range except the romantic look (arrghhh annoyed with myself sometimes).  I bought all palettes from Boots Piccadilly Circus apart from the Natural at Night range as it's sold out everywhere.  You can get them from Beautybay , beauty and hair website where you can get mostly every

Illamasqua - The Night Time Diva Course

I was attending a make-up course at Illamasqua the other day and was shown a step by step demonstration on how to create a smokey eyes for a night out.  The atmosphere was very friendly with a small size class plus the tutor was very informative as well.  Blank Canvas Before Foundation & how concealer under the brow bone really lift up the eye ^^ It's all about Contouring - Im completely obsessed with it!!! Final Look!!! One trick I've learnt through the night was to skip a concealer and used a peach cream pigment to conceal any dark circles and it does wonder.  Since the course, I have been using the cream pigment in Emerge instead of concealer ^^  Obviously, I didn't leave the store without purchasing any products and as valentine's day is around the corner, I'm all about peach colour (o well ^^).  Clockwise from left: Cream Pigment - Emerge Blusher - Lover Lipstick - Sonnet Have a great weekend xx
