February Favourites - 2015

Can't believe that it is March already, where has these two months have gone.  February has been a slight of a roller-coaster where I literally lived in a suitcase and finding it's hard to find a time to blog as well.  Anyways, it is now back to normal - sort of and I just wanted to share few of my favourite looks and stuff in February, that consists of Valentine's look and a Chinese New Year's look. 
Here we go ^^ 

 Valentine's Look: 
This time I went for a more gold, brown mixed with pink and navy.  Don't you think that it is boring if every Valentine's you have to involve only either pink or red colour?!  I personally do so I went for something bit different. 




Chinese New year Look: 
It is the year of the Sheep and I am beyond excitement to look forward to this year because there are so many exciting things and so many planning as well as preparation but in a good way. 
Here was the look I did to celebrate the year, a simple look with a bright red lipstick and a touch of gold ;)





Finally, to conclude this blog I have included my favourites for February as follow: 
From Top Left Clockwise: 
  1. Ben Nye Neutral Set Powder:  This powder is colourless and it last you all day without needing to touch up 
  2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit:  After being put on waiting list for a while, I finally got my hands on this little baby - the colours are so versatile and I have been using them every single day. 
  3. Dior Star Concealer No. 001 and 002:  They have a brightening effect and I use 001 for under eye whilst 002 to conceal any blemishes
  4. Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper:  What can I say about this, one of the best eyeshadow primer every - nothing move and my eyeshadows last for a whole day and night without having to retouch
  5. Kryolan Lip Pencil No. 36:  A gorgeous Pinky Nude colour that also corrects
  6. Zoeva Face Shape Brush 110:  Perfect dome shape for contouring your cheekbones
  7. Maybelline Lash Sensational:  My holy grail that lifts, lengthens and separate every single little tiny of my eyelashes and it's build able without clumping the lashes
  8. Lipstick Queen Pinky Nude Sinner:  Love Love Love - it's a perfect nude lipstick without making me looked washed out and the colour is gorgeous!!!

Can't believe that it's November already, Xmas is just around the corner and 2012 is nearly over.  So far October has been a fun and relaxing month for myself and I just want to share what I have bought and my current must have in my make up bag ^^  I have been wanting to try out Too Faced products and have been hearing the rave about it.  Don't get me wrong, I love my MAC, Coastal Scents and Bobbi Brown eyeshadows.  However, I felt that Too Faced Eye Palette is convenient if I am travelling or just going for a night out without having to bring so many different colours in one bag which is quite annoying sometimes.  So, my plan was only to buy one to try out but I ended up buying the whole range except the romantic look (arrghhh annoyed with myself sometimes).  I bought all palettes from Boots Piccadilly Circus apart from the Natural at Night range as it's sold out everywhere.  You can get them from Beautybay , beauty and hair website where you can get mostly every

One outfit + 3 different style of shoes

Day off and sun shines are something I couldn't asked for more.  I started off my day with a great workout at the gym, before heading out to meet up with a friend.  I decided to wear my new top that I bought from ZARA which is currently on sale.  I have never been a big fan of 'knitwear' because I always feel that knit material can look unflattering on me.  However, I decided to give it another try and to be very honest I am actually loving it.  The cut is flattering and I want to look very casual on my day off, therefore I mixed it with a pair of Jeans, flats and a hat that I received from my friend, Kate Michell.  I also decided to plait my hair because it was too hot and humid. Due to the unpredictable weather in London, I never forget to bring a cardigan just in case if it gets cold all of a sudden.  I love this outfit because I think it is very versatile as you can wear it from day to evening without looking too casual or too formal.  In addition, this outfit is

Show Some Love

Hey my lovelies, here is my last and maybe my favourite Valentines look.  Something very simple yet show the soft and romantic side.  Sometimes less is more and this look will definitely turn your loved ones' head around when you don't try too hard and it can be worn as everyday look ^^ Products I used: Step by Step: Prep the eye using Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow and Apply MAC Jest eyeshadow all over the eye Apply MAC All That Glitter on the eye lid Using Pencil Brush, apply Too Faced Matte Eyes Palette in Vintage Violet on the outer crease Blend in MAC Tempting just on the outer corner up to the crease Apply MAC Tempting on the lower lashes connected to the end of the eye and All That Glitters on the inner eye. Finished the look of with eyeliner and tons of mascara from Max Factor Clump Defy (for me anyways as mine is so fine!!!) Closer Look As I am feeling slightly flirtatious, I added some falsies just at the outer corner of the eye.
