Illamasqua 'The Sacred Hour'

Happy Friday dolls,
Last week I went to the launch of Illamasqua new collection called 'The Sacred Hour' exclusively at Selfridges.  This event last for 2 hours where we were given some yummy drinks, the chances to meet Alex Box - Illamasqua Creative Director where she told us the story behind their new collection, David Horne - Director of Product Development where he talked about their new Skin Based Lift Concealer and the chances to explore and tested their new products.
So, what did I get from my redeemable £30, fufufu

From Top Clockwise:
  1. Reflection Palette
  2. The Shard Lipstick
  3. Skin Based Lift Concealer No. 2
To be honest, this is by so far my most favourite collection from Illamasqua not because the other collections weren't great.  However, the theme behind this collection has the most impact towards my own personal life and how sometimes one can forget their own identity and the spiritual side of life due to the modern living and the influence of outsiders.  This collection is to tell us to embrace ourselves and to love ourselves for all we have been through and the imperfection that comes with it, because we are perfect as who we are.
I completely fallen in love with this new collection especially their eyeshadow palette and the lipstick which was inspired by London current tallest building 'Shard' - a gorgeous red wine colour that suits any skin tone.

The Look I created using the three items from above.
Eyes:  Mixture of Acute and Graphica on the eyelid and Precipice on the inner corner as a highlighter
Lips:  The Shard
The texture of their new palette are pretty spongey and you can apply them only using your fingers from light to intense look and they are water resistant.  The lipstick never stop amazed me and this colour will definitely be in my make up staple (I even received loads of compliment for it ;)

Hope you enjoy it and have a lovely weekend xoxo
